 Here are some explanations of our pricing.  As you can see it depends a lot upon how many men are required to do that particular type of item.  You tell us what you are moving and we decide how many men it takes.  We have to do it this way to ensure safety.

Upright Piano (non Player)

3 Man job; 2 hour Minimum
 These pianos are heavier than the smaller ones so they require a third man to move them safely.  Some can weigh as much as 900 lbs.  Again we use our own fitted piano covers, specially trained workers with special equipment that most movers don't have to accomplish this task.
 Price: $125.00 per hour; 2 hour minimum weekday

 Grand Pianos from less than 7ft in length

 3 man job
 Grand Pianos of this average and small size can be moved by our three man teams.  We do have special covers for your piano to protect against scratching and damage.  These pianos are moved in the standard industry method with a few trade skills that only piano movers would know.  We carry this special equipment in our trucks and our piano crews are specially trained by a master piano mover who founded this company in 1970.
 Price: $125.00 per hour; 2 hour minimum weekday

 Concert Grand Pianos  9ft in length

4 man job

As these are the most extreme grand pianos our piano master, John Darrah, goes on each of these jobs to supervise the crew and make sure that your piano is treated with the respect and care it deserves.  We can move them on and off stage.  Pickup at the airport and deliver to your home or your concert at a time that fits your schedule.
Price: $150.00 per hour; 3 hr minimum weekday

Safe Moves over 500 lbs

Four Man Job over 500lbs-1000lbs $600 flat 1st 3hours. plus the 4 man rate if over 3 hrs work.

Six man Job 1,000 lbs -4,000 lbs= $900 flat for 1st 3 hrs. plus the 6 man rate if over 3 hrs work.

We have special equipment and liftgates on some of our trucks which can handle up to 3,000 and 4,000 lbs safes.  These jobs do have a two hour minimum and this hourly rate.  NO SAFES OVER 4,000LBS.

Jakuzzi

We have specials tools and equipment made just for moving jakuzzis.  We have delivered many of the 1000lbs models recently that costco has been selling.  Our workers are specially trained in moving these items
Price: $150.00 per hour; 3 hr minimum;access may increase manpower requirements increasing rate

Piano Sizes and Terms

Measure Grands from keyboard to farthest point of the hump.  Standup pianos we need to know the height from the floor to the top of the piano.  Pianos range in weight from about 300lbs to over a 1000lbs so this information is crucial to assigning the correct crew to the job.
